Designed for Surveillance

COLDSTORE storage arrays are designed specifically for video, exploiting the real-time sequential nature of video streams, storing sequentially for maximum efficiency, lowest cost and highest reliability.

Sequential Recording

All non-Opus COLDSTOREs work in the same way, using our unique Sequential Filing System (SFS) and Linear Array of Idle Disks (LAID), with a mirrored overlapping pair writing pattern for recording security.

Linux OS

All COLDSTORE systems use a tailored, highly secure Linux Operating System, stored on solid-state disks. This reduces costs and, being a tailored system, requires infrequent updates.

Dual PSU

COLDSTORE offers dual hot-swap power supplies in most models, providing peace of mind in the event of a PSU failure. COLDSTORE arrays use so little power that the PSUs are never stressed and so rarely fail.
