"Power over Ethernet (POE) is a technology for the transmission of both data and power over standard Ethernet cables. It has become a ubiquitous technology for powering network edge devices, especially modern IP cameras. There are nine different classes or power levels, covering by three IEEE standards, 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt, covering power levels up to 15W, 30W and 90W respectively.
