OUTREACH PLUS brings Veracity's Ethernet extension technology to high-power devices such as PTZ IP cameras, 802.11n wireless access points, and door interlock systems. Simply connect OUTREACH PLUS in-line with the installed network cable to double its range, with no need for any electrical supply connection. OUTREACH PLUS is compatible with IEEE 802.3at PoE Plus and other high-power standards up to 30 Watts.

Full-bandwidth Ethernet extension

Regular 100BASE-T Ethernet limits the cable length between active devices to 100 metres (328 feet). However Veracity's OUTREACH PLUS Ethernet extender repeats the network signal, allowing extension to PoE Plus devices up to 200 metres (628 feet) away.

And because the signal is restored, the full-duplex 100BASE-T bandwidth you need (total 200Mbit/s) is maintained with no restrictions.

Extend 30 Watts of Power over Ethernet

OUTREACH PLUS is compatible with 802.3af PoE, 802.3at PoE Plus, and other proprietary PoE standards for devices up to 30 Watts. Because it draws its own power from the same PoE supply, no electrical installation is required.

This means that high-power IP cameras can be located optimally, as neither the camera nor the OUTREACH PLUS needs to be located near an electrical power outlet.

Veracity's OUTSOURCE PLUS is an enhanced PoE Plus power injector, and is recommended to ensure maximum power is available to PoE Plus devices up to 200 metres away.

Easy installation

OUTREACH PLUS simply has two network ports, both of which configure automatically on connection. Physical installation is made straightforward thanks to its compact dimensions and tough wall-mountable case.

Note that OUTREACH PLUS is for use with PoE-powered devices only, and will not operate until a PoE source and powered device are both connected. For extension of Ethernet with no PoE or with optional 802.3af PoE, please see our OUTREACH extender.

IP video and security
PoE Plus is being adopted for PTZ IP cameras, heated camera housings, lighting systems, door interlocks and other security devices which require more than 13 watts to operate. OUTREACH PLUS lets these devices be located twice as far from their PoE source, so they can be positioned right where they are needed.

Wireless networking
Multi-channel 802.11n wireless access points (WAPs) and high-power point-to-point transceivers often need more power than regular PoE can offer. OUTREACH PLUS means they can be located optimally.
